Wooooop! I’m excited because I got some new colors. *doin’ a dance* So excited. It’s about time because it had been a long looong loooong almost 2-3 weeks since I’ve purchased my last color. So thrilled. So, here’s what I got…

Big T
Romping
Nocturnelle
Coopering
…..and I purchased some color from Milani that is similar to Firespot.
…..no one has Firespot and I’m sooo saddened because I REALLY want it.
So yeah, I don’t like how Orange feels….doesn’t go too well on my eyes and Ricepaper (WTF was I thinking?) I went a little overboard so instead of exchanging them, I may return them. IF I have THAT much will power….which I doubt I do.

So I tried 2 new looks which I’ve named Blue and Passion. The quality of the pics are terrible because I used my camera phone, so please beware—for some reason the enlargement of these pics make my face look like HELL. I’m not even lyin’…..my skin ain’t as good as it normally is, but it certainly doesn’t look as terrible as the damn Sidekick makes it seem.
So……the colors from Blue are all MAC colors which include:
-Electric Eel on lid
-Tilt on crease
-Vex on browbone (yall know I love my Vex up there)
…..this was a BOLD, in yo face…..”check out the chick with the loud ass blue eyeshadow on” kinda look. And of course, I rocked it, loved it, felt confident, got compliments, and smiled at the hatas alllll at the same time. For some reason, I really don’t care what people think about my eyeshadow. I got some funny looks yesterday, but I shrugged it off and came strollin’ anyway.

Ohhhh shooooot……I went in Sephora yesterday and checked out NARS Exhibit A and Taj Mahal blushes and that Taj Mahal is GORGEOUS!!!! Exhibit A is nice, but it looks a little orange. I’m defintely going to have to indulge in that some day.
And then I checked out Urban Decay’s Heat which is a RED (okayyyy, I thought for the longest that red shadows didn’t even exist!) that I absolutely love. I’m going to go back and get it one day. It’s intense. More intense than NARS’ Emmanuel.
So yeah….that’s that!

I’m loving these looks too Ms. Makeup Artist. It’s amazing how many looks you can come up with eyeshadows…It’s GREAT!
Great haul by the way. I have Big T and Coppering too (I love them both). I’m back and forth about Firespot..when I do a swatch on my finger I love it because it’s bright, but when I actually put it on my eye, it’s not as bright…we’ll see, maybe I need to have one of the MAC artists put it on me. I also want to get that Electric Eel…it looks great on you. Have you tried Freshwater? It’s a really bright blue and so pretty! I use the Milani eyebrow pencil too almost everyday, it’s GREAT!
I can’t believe you just thought Eyepopping was “Eeehhh”…I LOVE this color. I’m going to post some pics with it on me soon when I where it. I did post some pics on Specktra when I used it on my friend (along with some other colors) so check it out. The look really turned out good. I’m going to try the same look on me and I hope it turns out as well as it did on her.
Exhibit A does look really bright orange, but it really does turn out great on darker skin. I don’t know about you, but when I’m in the sun too long, my skin gets an orange tint (not red)…so it’s great for that sun-kissed look on your cheeks. I use this color just about everyday. LOVE IT!
Sorry for the book I just wrote, but when it comes to makeup I just can’t seem to stop yapping (lol). Love reading your makeup blogs, so keep ‘em commin.

And maybe I’m just hatin’ on Eyepopping because I don’t have it. LOL, probably….it is unique color. It looked GREAT when you put it on Amber’s eyes. Okay, fine. I’m getting it. LOL, that was easy.
Okay, so yeah…..Exhibit A does look rather orange, but things look completely different when you put them ON. So I’m definitely going to have to try that. NARS alone is just such a beautiful line…
And keep writing…..you keep me inspired. Provide tons of tips and feedback. I sho need it!
