The Makeup Show LA: Background, installment 1

My coverage on The Makeup Show LA is finally is motion. My goal is to give you so much news, show you so many pictures and provide enough video footage that you feel like you were there.
“Wait a minute B…what exactly is The Makeup Show?”

Oh. Good question. Per The Makeup Show LA website:

On March 15 and 16, 2009 the makeup industry will come together to celebrate the craft of the professional makeup artist for the first time ever – at the global epicenter of entertainment and glamour – Los Angeles.
Like The Makeup Show NYC and Miami, The Makeup Show LA will be a pro-artist event for everyone in every area of the makeup industry. We’ll deliver the same pro-driven, artistically inspired, celebratory energy of The Makeup Show to the west coast, and bring together your top brands and inspirational artists and educators for two amazing days of community, career and craft building.
It’s the west coast must-attend event for anyone in the business of makeup and beauty.”

The Makeup Show is about education, inspiration, creativity, networking and fun. Every attendee had a passion for beauty. From watching celebrity make-up artists in action to ogling over products from your favorite beauty brands, there truly is a certain kind of presence surrounding the people at The Makeup Show. And I felt like I was fitting in perfectly.
