Mascara Monday: Rimmel Glam’ Eyes Lash Flirt mascara
I love mascara requests.
I mean….they literally light up my inbox. While quite a bit of you have been requesting throwback mascaras, this week I got a ton of requests for Rimmel’s newest. Which is interesting because I wasn’t even going to review it! But the people have spoken so here it is…..

What it claims: Check out the packaging!
The truth: Okay….so 80% is a dramatic claim but it ain’t too shabby.
What I loved about it: The wand is pretty amazing. The bristles are GREAT for separating. Especially if you have those crazy tangled lashes like I do. They are stiff and thin enough to get through the lashes. But I don’t like about the wand is that it is a little too “wobbly”. Flexible=good. Bo-yoing-yoing factor? Not so much? But it doesn’t cause TOO much of a problem.
What I didn’t like: I would have liked some more volume. Especially since that’s what the mascara said it’s going to do. To make up for the volume….I got insane length.
Overall: I reviewed the original Glam Eyes here. What I am finding with the Rimmel mascaras that I review is that they ALL give me what I’m NOT looking for. Which I suppose is better than it giving me nothing at all. This Lash Flirt is pretty darn good. It really gets your lashes out there and guess what? It’s build-able! Go ‘head and apply a 3rd coat. Or a 4th coat if you’re a rebel. You won’t get crazy ‘clumps of mascara’…haha. I did experience smudging (watch the video to see what I mean) but then again that could be my own clumsiness.

Would I recommend it?: Sure! Why not? Give it a whirl! Besides….the packaging is crazy cute.

Just got this the other day. Tried it out for the first time, totally flicked myself right in the eyeball! Too bendy for me! LOL, but other than that it is a decent mascara.
Have to have lashes to use mascara. Have you heard anything about Latisse..the prescription to grow lashes ? Just curious.

SoHo—> I have heard of Latisse but I haven't used it and don't know anyone that has. Hmm…I'm not sure if it's a route I would take. Interesting discussion though.

i've never tried anything from rimmel but i want to! haha.
I love this mascara! Actually, I use my Lash Blast Length to lengthen (duh) my lashes, then give it a curl (i have no probs curling my lashes after mascara. i blame it on my short lashes), then put this on top. i don't know how true the 80% blacker pigments is, but it is very noticeable to me that the pigments are indeed blacker. Glad I found 2 mascaras that would do my stubbly lashes wonders, without breaking my bank
