FOTD Friday: Work Place Purple

Happy happy Friday, my darlings! Labor Day is coming up and I’ve got a pretty big weekend planned. Woo! I’m exciiiited. Stay tuned for photos of all of the happ’ns.
Soooo, lately I’ve been feeling a little uninspired with eye make-up. Not that I have the time to play around with it anyway. When getting ready for work, I have a good 10 minutes to throw together a workplace appropriate look. Most days it works. But other days the ‘creative’ in me seeps out and wants to come up with new looks.
I was in a “purple” mood so I pulled out MAC’s Vibrant Grape.
See what I mean….
I mean, I could bang it out and make it nice smokey eye but come ooooon, I can’t wear a smokey purple eye to work.
Check out what I came up with. And don’t be laughin’ at my “needs to be threaded brows”. I got them done shortly after this FOTD. Ha!
MAC Studio Finish concealer in NW45
EYES:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Lancome Oscillation mascara
MAC lipliner in Nightmoth
And could it be? My skin is acting right for once. Of course as you read this, I have a good 12 pimples or so. They came out of nowhere I tell ya.
Whatcha think? Is it possible to make purples professional?
Enough P’s for ya?
Haaa!!! Happy weeeekeeeend!

I love the way you took that vibrant color and made it work-appropriate! I love to wear bright colors (I'm learning how to work with them, mostly through experimenting with UD 24/7 liners), and making them a little more muted is high on my list of desires. You've given me some ideas to try, thank you!
you rock the purple baby!
you're totally working the purple!
Oh, what a smart solution! Looks very pretty!
Very pretty, thats where I use my vibrant purples because they are very dominating on the lid…
BTW: Where did that Kissable Couture lippie sneak in from???? Review coming?

This is so pretty! You rock the purple!
That's how I have started wearing my vibrant colors for daytime, with a subtle gold or tan on the lid and the vibrant color as an accent type of shade… great solution!
I like that it's subtle but you can still see the purple.
You rock the purple! That's totally work appropriate!!! xo Have a fun Labor Day weekend!

Thank you, sisters!!
