Mascara Monday: Clinique Naturally Glossy mascara
Here’s a mascara that was requested ages ago! Now I’ve heard of volume mascaras. And colored mascaras. And waterproof mascaras. But GLOSSY mascaras? I mean shouldn’t “gloss” only be used when talking about lippies? I don’t knowww…let’s see how this train rolls.

What it claims:
“Gel-based formula defines lashes naturally. Lengthens, glosses, enhances. Lashes stay silky, pliant, clump and flake-free through multiple coats.” (source)The truth:
Well, what do ya know? It really is glossy!What I didn’t like: But I would have loved more volume.
Overall: When someone first told me that I should try a glossy mascara, I thought they were trying to be funny. I mean, honestly…what does that mean? A mascara with gloss? Uh? Wha? It sounds funny in speech but honestly…..this is a pretty cool mascara.
But you’d have to ask yourself…”When would I ever need to use a glossy mascara?” I couldn’t answer that question. From far away, you really can’t tell the difference between a glossy mascara and an un-glossy one. The silky effect is pretty cool but I guess I don’t see its point.
But who cares? There are a lot of “Uh?” products in the beauty world that I love! Application of this mascara was just so so. The wand was just…well….no me gusta.
It’s just….well, I guess its intentions are to coat and not separate and that’s fine but, hmmm but it wasn’t the easiest thing to use. I had to really press the wand up against my lashes to get a good amount of mascara on them.
BUT–after that ordeal, all else was easy as pie. I didn’t experience any flaking or clumpiness. It’s a light weight mascara so it doesn’t make you feel like you have 3 lb weights on your lashes. Cool!
Has anyone tried this mascara?
And when would you ever be in the mood for glosssy lashes? Hmm….

I don't see any difference for glossy lashes and non glossy lashes on my puny little lashes

I wonder if one could do a coat over voluminous carbon black…or if it would be a chemical spill. I like the idea though. btw love having Kenneth giving the guy side of things!
Hm judging from the picture it's kinda weird and clumpy..the only other time I remember your lashes looked like this was with the Maybelline great lash review…
