FOTD Friday: Coppering eyes and red like fiyah lips

Happy Friday, darlings! Gosh, I still can’t believe that it’s February already. I love the month of February. You’ve got Black History Month, Valentine’s Day and for us Floridians the weather starts hitting around the 80′s and 90′s and it’s practically summer time. Someone out there just shoveled snow this morning and is giving me “the look” but don’t hate me. Visit Florida! LOL! 
Anywhoovers…so despite the fact that I’m Valentine-less this year (*pops collar* So far..lol), I still really like Valentine-y stuffs. I love the pink and red and it’s just so cheesy and over the top and right up my alley. My original FOTD was going to be something on the lines of…

But I’ve done that before. Remember when I used that NARS Caravaggio duo? Loved it! But for some reason I was feeling like sportin’ a red lip. But when doing so I wanted to do a pretty soft eye. 

So I pulled out MAC’s Coppering eyeshadow. Man, I forgot how much I loved that color. It’s just so warm yet un-boring. See!
Go ‘head, Coppering! You rock and you know it. And then I had fun with a bright red lip.

What I used…

FACE:
MAC Studio Finish concealer in NW45
MAC Sweet As Cocoa blush

EYES:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
L’Oreal HIP cream paint in Witty (lid)
MAC Coppering eyeshadow (outer-V)
MAC Embark and Handwritten (crease

NARS Edie eyeshadow (between crease and brow)
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Zero
Stila’s waterproof liquid eye liner
L’Oreal Voluminous <—such a staple!

LIPS:
Milani Bonfire lip pencil
MAC Port Red lipstick
MAC 3D Lipglass in Wondershine <—throwback!

Actually, I’m kidding. She hates everything banana-related except banana bread and I love everything banana-related except banana bread. HA!

So what do you think? About bananas, I mean? Love ‘em? Hate ‘em?

I am going to have a pretty busy weekend. I am headed to Miami to crash a Superbowl celebrity styling lounge (no…seriously. I’ll tweet pics!) and then I am throwing my friend a baby shower in Tampa on Saturday. And let’s hope that I manage to finish up my 5K training for the week.

    Bananas, yuck!!!! FOTD is banging though! I'm so envious of your weekend of fun in the sun. We're expected our 2nd weekend in a row of snow. :-(
