FOTD Friday: Work place look tutorial
Happy Friday, family!
It’s so unexpected. I mean, who would have thought that a brown a hot pink could make a hot combination? Of course you can use whatever products you have as I’m sure you will yield the same fabulous results.
Next up is priming. Of course this is an optional step but I live in Florida and eye shadow melts within seconds of walking outside. No lie!
Be sure to blend blend blend!
If you feel like you need a little more depth, apply a burgundy eye shadow right in your crease.
Take your favorite pencil, gel or liquid liner and line your lower lashline.
And you KNOW we can’t forget this step…
I felt like the look needed a bit of a POP so I added a bit of silver in the near the tear ducts.
Define those cheekbones with a bit of color.
And there you have it! You’ve got a look perfect for the office space. No matter which co-worker you are.
Which one are you?
I’m definitely the silly one. Never a dull moment in my office. I’m heading to Atlanta this weekend for the World Natural Hair Show. I’m so excited to meet up with fellow natural hair bloggers. To get all of the happ’ns, you can follow my hair blog handle on Twitter at @LocRockin.
Love y’all! Have a great weekend!

Great Job! I am the silly one too. Ok you made the tutorial look so easy. I really want to wear more make up but, I know that I will look like a clown. Maybe I will try to apply some eyeshadow now. Btw, I hope to see you at the Natural Hair Show this weekend.
The Loud coworker looks so cute and the sexy one as well! you are one crazy woman and I like it!
thanks for the tut and have a wonderful friday dearie
I am probably anti-social and sexy intern at the same time! You look super cute! I am loving the blush. What is it?
By the way, you said you were lining your waterline with the gel liner, but the picture shows you lining your lashline
You're too funny!
Great look! Love the multiple personalities!
I love this look1 And depending on what time of the day it is I can be each of these of coworkers lol
I am probably the anti-social one LOL, if I am in the break room I have my nose in a book =) Not that I'm completely uninterested in conversation, but I just think it's absurdly funny how many people in there complain about the 8 month old magazines but would never consider any other reading material =)
HOT! I might try this tomorrow.
Cute post Brittany! The pics describing the co-workers were awesome, made me giggle. I'm more like you the silly one. Hope you have a great weekend and I will def try the look.
Hilarious!!!!
Love it, sis!
Hmmm . . . I'm probably the Silly One at one job and the Quiet One at another . . . so I love the versatility!
we all know these coworkers…have to say ive been a bit of everyone before.
i always had issues with my crease. i wear glasses also, so i love these tips
Can you give me a tip on what brand I should use? Should I get the primer, the shadow, the mascara, and the liner from the same place / company? Help a sista out please! I have no clue and need to go to a formal event. I have been trying shadow but it never looks as vibrant as yours does.
Darlings, I'm going to do a video on this look with information about the products used and all.
HB, I'm going to shoot you an email and help you out. Muah!
Very cute tutorial! You look great! Love the glasses too
Hi there,
Loved your cute tutorial…I am from India with the regular wheatish/ brown Indian skin. I always felt that blush/ eye shadow never shows on my skin and I used to blame my skin color. But now thanks to you, my thoughts have changed. The colors look lovely on you. I am definitely going to try this. Thanks again.
