Got tired eyes? Yeah well, join the club. Let’s fix ‘em together!

“Relax.” they say. “Get some time to yourself.” they utter. Hmph. Whatever. My darling child is a special gift and I love her more than life itself but babies are some selfish creatures, man. They don’t give a darn about your beauty blogging schedule. Which is why it has taken me so long to review this amazing Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Duo from Le Metier de Beaute. I got a pair for review awhile back and I just got around to trying them out.

Le Metier de Beaute Hydrating Mask Duo

First of all, LMdB is a luxury brand. You know this, right? I’ve reviewed the brand several times before and their products are far from cheap. But if you’re ever in the mood to treat yourself to something cosmetically decadent, well then, I’m suggesting LMdB. This eye mask duo is wooooonderful.

I mean, I knew they’d probably feel nice but no, they REALLY feel nice. According to LMdB these single-use translucent seaweed-based masks have several things they’ll do for the skin under the eyes. Aaaand, here’s a list…

-They instantly cool on contact.
-They re-energize the area under the eyes.
-They reduce under eye redness.
-They diminish puffiness and the look of dark circles.
-They automatically pay back your student loans.

…nah, I’m just kidding about that last part. Just making sure you were paying attention. Ha! But seriously, they are some kind of awesome. I like that you don’t have to lay down while wearing them. And they really do create a second skin.

Yes, girl. They feel just marvelouuuus! I am a believer. And I wish these were waiting for me each and every night. Hey! A girl can dream, right?

Price: $150 for a pair of 8
Availability: You can get them from Nordstrom and Nordstrom.com.
Is it worth the money?: I’m not sure they sell these individually (bummer) and a box is so expensive each time you needed the under-eye pampering. They’re worth the price but I’m sure there are other ways you can pamper yourself.

Do you take care of the skin under your eyes? You can be honest… Okay, I’ll start. I don’t but will dedicate more time to doing so.

Yeah… I just about fainted when I saw the price tag.
Those seem super nice though. Le sigh. Maybe one day when I’m rich and famous…

Far too bad they’re not available in individual packs. The price would be more digestible this way. I apply undereye cream twice a day; other than this, I don’t really do anything special to care for the skin under my eyes.

0.0 that price tag is no joke. I knew they were a luxury line and were expensive but I WAS NOT EXPECTING that! I wonder if there are dupes floating around, I know there are a lot of Korean brands that make eye masks like this *swan dives into research*

“They automatically pay back your student loans.” Hahaha! I need to get me some of those! ;) So funny!

  5. Ooh fun! Love that these stick to your skin so you can move about – although I guess that’s the opposite of relaxing, lol! I’m totally picturing myself wearing these whilst unloading the dishwasher and vacuuming! ;)

Yes I am getting the dreaded puffiness and dark circles, and any price to get rid of them is acceptable to me. I will try them until I find an acceptable lower priced product that actually works, which I have not found yet.

Honestly? I have never paid much attention to my under eye area. I wish I would have started taking better care of this when I was a little younger, but I guess it’s better late than never right? This product really does sound amazing, but I would never even consider purchasing it because of the price.

  9. Carol says:

Sounds like a really good product, but the price is quite on the high side – $150, that’s kind of expensive to me.
